Since our Company was founded we applied all the rules for privacy and confidentiality imposed by our field of operation, our Customers info and applications, our Supplier technologies, processes and info acquired during our operations. We never shared customer contacts personal info with external organizations and we never done customers profiling based on sensitive informations like politic, sex orientation, religion preferences since it is not in our Company policies and scope.

What is happening now?

It is GDPR – EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be enforced as new EU data protection law coming into effect. Since we are proud Europeans we welcome these new regulations and are happy to comply. Eurolink Systems loves Privacy!

How does this affect me?
These changes do not affect how our services work or how you use them but the changes in the Terms of Service does affect you since that is an agreement between Eurolink Systems users and us. Using our products, services, email address after May 25th, 2018, means that you agree with the new Terms

What if I don’t agree?
If you don’t agree to these changes, we’re afraid that you can’t use any of our services and products after May 25. Do let us know, and we will remove your data according to the policy. But really, everything is just better for you after these changes.

We will only ever share your details with the relevant manufacturing partner if required for technical or commercial support. If you choose to remove your details from our database we will ensure this request is actioned by all parties.

Our website at www.eurolinksystems.com provides information about the products and services we sell on behalf of our manufacturing partners. All of the products and services on the website are aimed at business users – from independent start-ups and developers to Europe’s largest manufacturers and system integrators. This website is in no way intended for children and we do not knowingly collect any data relating to children.

4. Data We May Collect From You

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of manufacturing partners. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.

By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for ten years after they stop being customers for tax purposes.
