Zenmuse P1 integrates a high sensitivity, low noise 45 megapixel full frame sensor with 24/35/50 mm fixed focus interchangeable lenses: it has been specifically designed for photogrammetry applications.

This better resolution results in better accuracy and, therefore, more accurate 3D models. Additionally, the P1 uses a global mechanical shutter (achieved with a central leaf shutter) to cancel shutter distortion, allowing the camera to handle speeds up to 1/2000th of a second.

P1 is equipped with a 3-axis stabilized gimbal that can compensate for any involuntary movement of the drone (pitch, roll and pan). It also uses real-time kinematic processing systems (RTK), for an accurate collection of georeferenced data and to provide very high precision, up to 3cm on the horizontal and 5cm on the vertical, even without GCP (ground control points).
